GM has on his web site that if you type in Google 'polygraph' the following appears in the first line......Related searches: polygraph countermeasures ......then is Wikipedia. Is there something we can do to bump this off? IP: Logged |

In this case, GM is not the culprit. Google cross references popular searches. It's automated and based on search frequency.IP: Logged |

So if we have a bunch of examiners start searching for Polygraph Place, APA and AAPP, could we bump it out or does it have to big of a head start. Sorry, I should really educate myself more on the nuts and bolts of the internet search engines.IP: Logged |

I know this doesn't sound like much but if everyone will do this it will help. Every time you want to visit Polygraph Place, APA, AAPP,etc do a google search by the name of the site.Every time you want to visit an anti site, use a bookmark in your favorites that takes you directly to the site. If you want to see what John Grogan is up to do a google search for TRUTHABOUtGROGAN. This will gradually move pro polygraph sites up in the rankings by increasing the searches for pro polygraph and reducing the searches for anti sites.

I will notify the Utah examiners and ask them to start doing this and I think it would be wise for other examiners to do the same. I don't want 'counter measures' being the first thing an individual sees when they look up polygraph!IP: Logged |

Unless I am wrong, Polygraphplace is 83,000 hits behind Wikipedia for polygraph, etc. If we all spent the next week typing in searches, we still wouldn't catch up.Let's face it; negative press is more sexy than straight talk and facts.
